Fatima Elimam

Dr. Fatima Elimam is a Sudanese academic, professor, writer, translator, poet, and short story author. She holds a degree in English from the University of Khartoum and earned her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics. Her academic and cultural contributions span critical, intellectual, and creative writings, addressing both local and international cultural issues over the years. In recognition of her work, she has received prestigious awards and medals for her collections of short stories. Dr. Elimam has published numerous creative works, including poetry and prose collections, as well as textbooks on translation and English language studies. She is a prolific writer, contributing extensively to daily newspapers and magazines, and has been an active participant in the broader cultural scene. Fluent in Arabic, English, and Turkish, she currently resides in Saudi Arabia, where she teaches Languages and Translation at Northern Border University.public cultural scene.
